The All In Poetry Prize celebrates the art of poetry and the voices behind it. Open to poets from around the world, the prize aims to recognise, showcase and honour exceptional poetry while creating opportunities for writers to share their work with a wider audience.

Satans Spirited Whiskey
The devil rejoices, the spirited whisky wins, and Satan laughs from the cauldron of hell.
The Spirit of Death sniggers at the bottom of the whisky bottle. Ha, you fool!
You hear the karmic chains in the distance, this time heavier, hot fires of iron approaching, with no escape.
Satan howls, his teeth clenching into your flesh like speared arrows. He ceremoniously commits the deed …
The neck surrenders, and another chain ties you to the karmic wheel of addiction
No escape, I cry for Archangel Michael, desperately battling satan.
My cup runneth over, the devil rots within, oh how I love the warmth, the high of the spirited whisky.
I was not ready to give up my crown jewel, fool’s gold.
The moon crossed the darkest oceans where ghosts cry, lost, searching for a soul to attach to, repeat the cycle over and over
Oh, not me, Archangel Michael saw my bleeding heart, oozing pure love beneath the iron masks, I rose from the karmic wheel, the tower rocked, the chains fell silent.
The devil no longer had my name to curse

Each year, selected poems will be added to this archive to honour the voices and stories shared through the competition.
