You are about to love me because ... it's final edit time!!

Now, if you're anything like me, this is the best day ever because it means ... YOU ARE DONE! Well ... done editing and my friends, that feels better than a whole lot of other things.

Your FINAL EDIT is your once over, your box check, nothing is getting changed here, nothing should be need fixing, this is not about adding or taking away, it is a final scan through, line by line, to make sure your book is pristine and ready for next steps.

A lot of people make this moment a chance to question themselves, they get into that stupid buzz word 'imposter syndrome', they think they know better than their already complete manuscript, and they let the wheels fall off right at the 11th hour because of all the reasons you can think of.

IT'S ALL NONSENSE.

DO NOT FALL INTO THIS TRAP.

YOU ARE COMPLETE.

STEP AWAY FROM THE MANUSCRIPT AND BREATHE .....

DO IT NOW ...

Yes, I have a flair for the dramatic but ... I know what I know, and I have seen what I have seen, so I know what goes through your head when you think you need to make it 'better'. Listen .. better is objective and YOU ARE NOT OBJECTIVE in this final edit moment so I will be objective for you. YOUR BOOK IS DONE!

And remember, you can always write another one ... so there's that! You are not a one and done wonder, I promise!
